The Fordham University men's and women's outdoor track and field teams wrapped up competition today at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held at the Track & Field Complex on the campus of the University of Massachusetts. Brigid Moriarty Places Fifth in 10,000m at 2008 Atlantic 10 Championships

Womens' 4x800 Relay Places Fifth in Section

The 4x800 relay of Melissa Salerno, Kerri Gallagher, Catherine Groene and Kathleen Reilly placed fifth in their section and 16th overall at the 2008 Penn Relays in a season-best time of 9:17.46 while the 4x400 relay of Dana Mitchell, Salerno, Groene and Gallagher placed seventh in their section and 73rd overall in a time of 4:02.47. Men's Track Wins First Ever Outdoor Metropolitan Championship; Women Take Highest Ever Finish In Second
The Fordham track & field teams had an extremely successful day at the 2008 Metropolitan Outdoor Championships, as the men won the team competition, while the women finished second behind St. John's. Individually, Fordham junior Matt DiBuono was named Athlete of the Meet.[Full Story]

The Fordham University men's and women's outdoor track and field squads competed today at the Coach O Invitational held at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
