4/28/2008 Fordham Varsity Eight Wins Metropolitan ChampionshipFordham's women's varsity eight scored an easy victory over five opponents in the 2008 Metropolitan Intercollegiate Rowing Association's Spring Championships. The Rams seized control of the race early in waters that were made choppy by a cross-wind from Long Island Sound, then pulled away to a decisive win in the flat waters of the second half of the race, defeating Binghamton by more than 10 seconds.
