Over 200 Fordham University student-athletes were honored for compiling a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at the Fifth Annual Breakfast for Champions held on January 27th in the McGinley Center Ballroom. The event was sponsored by the Fordham Athletic Department with assistance from the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and the Office of Academic Advising. [Full Story]

The Fordham University men's and women's cross country squads competed at the ECAC/IC4A Championship held at Van Cortlandt Park with the men placing seventh of 25 teams in the IC4A University race and the women taking tenth of 25 team in the ECAC University race. [Full Story]

The Fordham cross country team took part in the NCAA District Qualifier this afternoon at Franklin Park in Boston, Massachusetts. The Rams held their own in the race, as the men were 22nd out of 34 teams, while the women were 25th out of 36 teams. [Full Story]

- Cross Country Competes at Bad Boy IV Invitational

In preparation for the NCAA District Qualifier in Boston next week, the Fordham cross country teams competed at the Bad Boy IV Invitational on Saturday, held at Van Cortlandt Park. The open tune-up race was good for the Rams, as the race not only featured college teams, but also a number of cross country club teams. Overall, the men placed eighth, while the women were fifth.[Full Story]

- Cross Country Competes at A-10 Championships

La Salle's Rachel Papin and David Alfano each placed second in their respective races as La Salle overcame heavy rain and wet conditions to defend its titles at the 2007 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Belmont Plateau. Fordham placed 10th out of 14 teams on the men's side and 11th out of 14 for the women.[Full Story]
