2006-07: Named 2007 Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Rookie...Won the 500 freestyle at the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championships to earn First team All-Conference honors and took second in the 200 free to earn Second Team accolades...Also placed fourth in the 1650 free at the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championships...Turned in fastest 200 (1:41.22), 500 (4:33.48), 1000 (9:48.47) and 1650 (16:04.41) free and 200 butterfly (1:57.16) times as a freshman as well as the second fastest 50 free (22.05)...Also swam with the 400 and 800 free relay squad and the 400 medley relay team...Won the 1650 free, third in the 200 and 500 free, fifth in the 100 fly and sixth in the 200 fly at the 2006 Sonny Werblin Invitational at Rutgers...Won the 200 fly and 1000 free in the Marist dual meet...Took first in the 200 IM and 1000 free and second in the 100 free in the Saint Peter's dual meet to earn Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors...Won the 200 free and 200 fly at Stony Brook dual meet to earn his second straight A-10 Rookie of the Week award...Won the 500 free at the Duquesne/Rhode Island tri-meet...Won the 200 and 500 free events at the Columbia dual meet to earn his third Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honor...Finished fourth in the 500 free and fifth in the 50, 200 and 1650 free at the 2006 Nutmeg Invitational at Yale...Won the 500 free and took third in the 1000 free in the La Salle dual meet...Won the 100 and 200 free in the UMass dual meet to earn another Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honor...Won the 100 fly in the St. Francis dual meet...Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. Before Fordham: Swam six years at Newburgh Free Academy (7-12)... Served as a team captain along with his brother, Justin... Earned All-America honors in the 200 free, 500 free and as part of the 400 free relay team at Newburgh Free Academy... Holds the school and Section 9 record in the 500 free (4:34.54), with the sixth fastest 500 free time in NYS Meet history... Won a USA National Age Group Award in the 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay and was a Spring Junior National Champion in the 400Y free relay... Finished third in the 200Y free relay and eighth in the 400M relay at the Summer Junior Nationals... Received the Most Outstanding Swimmer Award at Newburgh three times... Named Section 9 Most Outstanding Swimmer in 2004-05... Also received the Most Outstanding Team Member Award at the state meet three times... Swan for the US Club team of the Newburgh Sharks...Member of the National Honor Society and the Science Honor Society. Personal: Majoring in Chemistry...
