Fordham University men's swimming and diving student-athletes Donato Callara, Ryan Coombs and Caitlin Napoli were named Academic All-Atlantic 10 for swimming and diving, in voting among the Conference's Sports Information Directors it was announced today. This is the second straight year in which Callara has earned academic honors from the conference and the first for Coombs. [Full Story]

The Fordham University men's and women's swimming and diving squads wrapped up competition at the 2008 Atlantic 10 Championships at the Flickinger Athletic Center with each squad placing fifth in the team standings. [Full Story]

The 2008 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championship opened competition tonight in Buffalo, New York, with Fordham currently third in the men's competition and fourth in the women's. Fordham University sophomore swimmers Ryan Coombs (Newburgh, N.Y./Newburgh Free Academy) and Caitlin Napoli (Hauppauge, N.Y./St. Anthony's) were named Atlantic 10 Men's and Women's Swimming Performer of the Week it was announced today. It is the third A-10 Performer of the Week award for Coombs, who was named 2007 Atlantic 10 Most Outstanding Rookie last winter, this year and the fourth for Napoli.[Full Story]

- Swimming & Diving Sweeps Meet on Senior Night

It was Senior Night for eight Fordham swimming & diving seniors, and they got sent off in fine fashion as Fordham swept their meet from St. Francis (NY) College. The Fordham men won 175-77 to improve to 5-4 overall, while the Fordham women won 152-85, improving to 9-1 on the season.[Full Story]

- 13 Fordham University Men's Swimming & Diving Student-Athletes Honored At Fifth Annual Breakfast for Champions

Over 200 Fordham University student-athletes were honored for compiling a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at the Fifth Annual Breakfast for Champions held on January 27th in the McGinley Center Ballroom. The event was sponsored by the Fordham Athletic Department with assistance from the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and the Office of Academic Advising.[Full Story]
