Fordham University senior third baseman/pitcher Allison Twarowski (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) and freshman outfielder Jocelyn Dearborn (New Milford, Pa./Blue Ridge) were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Louisville Slugger All-Mid Atlantic Region Team it was announced today. Finnerty & Hilario Named Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference For Outdoor Track

Senior Tom Finnerty (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) and junior Clifton Hilario (Circleville, N.Y./Pine Bush) were selected to the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Academic All-Conference team it was announced today. It is the second Academic All-Conference honor for both runners, as Finnerty earned All-Academic for cross country as a junior, while Hilario was All-Academic for indoor track & field, earlier this season. [Full Story]

  • Late Inning Heroics Comes Up Short for Softball

  • Following last night's extra inning affair, the Fordham softball team was ready early Saturday morning to take on the Charlotte 49ers and advance to the Atlantic 10 Championship for the third time in four years. However, the storybook ending went to the 49ers, scoring a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh to win, 2-1, and eliminate Fordham from the tournament.[Full Story]

  • Tom Davis threw seven and one-third innings of eight-hit ball to pick up his Atlantic 10-leading eighth win of the year and lead Fordham University to a 3-1 win over Xavier University in the first game of an Atlantic 10 doubleheader at Houlihan Park.   • It took five hours and 13 minutes, 19 hits, and two lightning delays but the Fordham Rams kept their Atlantic 10 Softball Championship hopes alive with an 8-2 13-inning win over the St. Bonaventure Bonnies at the Phillips Softball Complex in Charlotte, N.C.
